My first full year of running is in the books. Allot of running from a "newbie" standpoint covering 790 miles of races, slow jogs, hills repeats, track sprints, and long runs. As I get into longer distances I look for the total mileage to increase dramatically in 2012.
Some key notes from 2011:
27 races participated in
Placed in 18 of them
8 first place, 4 second place, and 6 third place
I achieved 2 5k PRs
I ran in my first 8k, 10k, and Half Marathon
Several aches, bruises, calf strains, hamstring pulls, and lost toe nails.
Goals for 2012
Increased mileage
Achieve PRs in each event distance I participate in
Participate in my first Full Marathon
